Lock the phone app with Face ID or your fingerprint
Phone app only: ask for Face ID, Touch ID, your fingerprint or your device passcode before GLP-Won opens.
This is available in the GLP-Won iPhone and Android app only. The app lock asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint before GLP-Won shows anything, so someone who picks up your phone can't read your program.
Steps
- In the GLP-Won phone app, tap Menu, then the Settings button (the gear icon) at the bottom of the menu.
- Find the App lock card and tap Turn on.
- Confirm it's you with Face ID, Touch ID, your fingerprint or your device passcode. The card then shows On.
- Next time you open GLP-Won, you'll see GLP-Won is locked. Tap Unlock and confirm it's you.
- To turn the lock off, tap Turn off on the same card. You'll be asked to confirm it's you first.
Good to know
- Your device passcode always works if your face or fingerprint isn't recognized.
- The app locks again when you come back after more than a minute away, and every time it starts fresh. Glancing at another app for a few seconds won't lock it.
- If the card says Not available, set up a screen lock on your phone first, then come back.
- This is a lock on the app, not a second sign-in. You stay signed in as usual, and GLP-Won never stores your password for it.
