What you see after logging a symptom
The four kinds of guidance GLP-Won shows after you log a side effect, what a routing level is, and the full-page notice for the most serious, with your medication's own label linked.
Every side effect you log is checked as soon as you save it, and GLP-Won shows one of four kinds of guidance. Each is a routing level — who to contact and how soon, worked out by a fixed rule table from what you logged — not a diagnosis, and nobody has examined you. The level you were shown is saved with the entry, so you can always see what you were told at the time. If you think you need urgent care, call 911 (or your local emergency number) — don't wait for the app.
Steps
- Log a side effect on the Medication page and select Log Side Effect.
- For the two milder results — Common, and worth tracking and Uncomfortable, and usually manageable — you're back on the Medication page with a card at the top showing the headline and a few suggestions.
- For Worth a call to your prescriber, a full Symptom guidance page opens with What you logged, Why this level and What to do, plus Prepare for my appointment for that call.
- For the most serious result, a full page titled Please read this opens with a red Urgent — contact a clinician or emergency services now notice at the top, the same three sections, and What your medication's own label says.
- When you've read either full page, select I've read this.
Good to know
- What your medication's own label says names the symptoms the FDA-approved labeling for GLP-1 medications tells you to report right away, and links to that labeling on DailyMed, the National Library of Medicine's copy. The Medication Guide at the end of each label also says what to do about the medication in those situations; read that part there and go through it with your prescriber. GLP-Won doesn't restate it.
- Until you select I've read this, a banner stays at the top of the Medication page — Urgent — contact a clinician or emergency services now or Worth a call to your prescriber — with a Read button to reopen the page.
- These two more serious results are also passed to a nurse on your care team, whatever plan you're on.
- You also get a notification for them, and it isn't held back by quiet hours.
- Under Recent side effects, the two more serious results have a Guidance chip.
- If you've said on the Medication page that you also take insulin or a sulfonylurea, shakiness, sweating or "low blood sugar" in your notes routes to your prescriber; "Log a side effect or symptom" explains.
- I've read this confirms you've read the guidance. It doesn't change or remove your entry.
