Why your community post is held for review

Find out why a post you wrote is held for a moderator, who can see it while it waits, and what happens next.

The community is for comparing notes, not for directing each other's medication. A post that reads that way is held for a moderator to check before anyone else sees it. It isn't deleted.

Steps

  1. After you tap Post or Reply, a held post shows the message Posted for review at the top of the page.
  2. In Community, your post carries a note: Held for a moderator, the reason, and Only you can see this.
  3. A moderator reviews it. If they release it, the whole room can see it. If they remove it, it no longer appears in the room.
  4. If you'd like to say it another way, write a new post about your own experience.

Good to know

  • Posts are held when they read as dose or medication direction to another member, discourage someone from contacting their clinician, or appear to offer or seek medication outside a prescription.
  • Talking about yourself is welcome, including a conversation you had with your own doctor. It's telling someone else what to do with their medication that gets held.
  • Held posts are never removed automatically. A person from the GLP-Won team always looks first.
  • You won't get a notification when a moderator decides. Check the room to see whether your post is visible.
