Follow the beginner strength plan

Use the three short at-home strength sessions and log one with a single tap once you've done it.

The 2–3× a week, at home card offers three short sessions — A, B and C — built around a chair, a backpack and a hallway. Each one lists its exercises and reps, with a short cue for each.

Steps

  1. Open the menu, then Track → Strength (Strength & function).
  2. In the 2–3× a week, at home card, open a session to see why it's there and what it involves.
  3. When you've done it, select I did this today inside that session.

Good to know

  • The session is logged as a real strength session for today, with its exercises and reps, so it appears under Recent sessions.
  • It counts toward your strength habit and its points, once per day.
  • Logging is what moves your Muscle protection score — reading the plan doesn't.
  • I did this today always logs for today. To record a session you did on another day, use Log a session and set the date.
  • The plan's sets are logged without a weight, so they don't add an estimated one-rep max.
Related
  • Log a strength session
Record a workout with exercises, reps and weight, and follow your estimated one-rep max to see whether you're getting stronger.
  • Record a functional test
Log a sit-to-stand, 4-metre walk, single-leg balance or grip strength result and see how it changes over time.
