Log a strength session

Record a workout with exercises, reps and weight, and follow your estimated one-rep max to see whether you're getting stronger.

Logging strength sessions shows whether you're holding on to muscle, and it completes your strength habit for the day.

Steps

  1. Open the menu, then Track → Strength (Strength & function).
  2. Scroll to Log a session.
  3. Set the Date and Minutes, and add a Name (optional) such as "Upper body".
  4. Under Sets, fill in one row per set: Exercise, Reps and lbs. Leave the weight at zero for bodyweight work. There are four rows, and blank rows are ignored.
  5. Move the How hard did it feel? slider from 1 to 10.
  6. Select Log session.

Good to know

  • If you have a strength habit, logging a session completes it for that day and earns its points — once per day, however many sessions you log.
  • Getting stronger? shows your best estimated one-rep max (1RM) for up to six exercises, and how it has changed across your recent sessions. It's calculated from the weight and reps you logged so that sets with different rep counts can be compared. It's an estimate, not a number to attempt.
  • Bodyweight sets count toward the session but don't produce an estimated 1RM.
  • Recent sessions lists your last ten, with the number of sets, minutes, total pounds lifted and your effort rating (RPE).
  • No workout in mind? The 2–3× a week, at home card has three ready-made sessions.
