Log waist, body fat and lean mass

Record waist, hip, body fat and lean mass measurements, and follow your waist trend and waist-to-hip ratio.

Measurements show what weight alone can't — especially whether what you're losing is fat or muscle. They live on the Strength & function page.

Steps

  1. Open the menu, then Track → Strength (Strength & function).
  2. Scroll to the Measurements card and set the Date.
  3. Fill in any of Waist (in), Hip (in), Body fat % and Lean mass (lbs).
  4. Clear any box you didn't measure this time. The boxes start filled with your latest values, and anything left in them is saved for this date too.
  5. Select Save measurements.

Good to know

  • There's one entry per day. Saving again for the same date adds to that day's entry, and a blank box doesn't erase a value you already saved for it.
  • Once you have two or more entries, a Waist trend chart appears, along with your waist-to-hip ratio if you've entered both.
  • The row of stats on the page shows your Waist change and Lean mass change since your first measurement.
  • A value you type here isn't replaced by a later import from a connected health app.
