Record a functional test
Log a sit-to-stand, 4-metre walk, single-leg balance or grip strength result and see how it changes over time.
Four quick tests show whether everyday life is getting easier. All you need is a chair, a stopwatch and a hallway, and the page suggests running them quarterly.
Steps
- Open the menu, then Track → Strength (Strength & function).
- Scroll to the Function card.
- Under Test, choose 30-second sit-to-stand (reps), 4-metre walk (seconds), Single-leg balance (seconds) or Grip strength (lbs).
- Enter your Result.
- Select Record.
Good to know
- Results are saved with today's date.
- The card lists your latest result for each test with its date, and a chip showing the change since the time before. The chip turns green when the result improved.
- For the 4-metre walk, a lower time is the improvement. For the other three, a higher number is.
- Each result is kept, so you can repeat a test as often as you like.
- To correct one, open All results — edit or remove under the form, then Edit or remove under the result. Change the result, date or note and select Save, or select Remove this entry. No points ride on a test, so a correction changes only the record.
