Message your care team

Send a secure message to your Journey Nurse or Dietitian and read their replies.

Your care team is real people: a Journey Nurse for education, navigation, following up symptoms you log and getting ready for appointments, and a Dietitian for nutrition coaching on protein, fiber, hydration, GI comfort and appetite. Messages are secure and text only.

Steps

  1. Open the menu, then Support → Care team (Care team).
  2. On the card for your nurse or dietitian, tap Message your nurse or Message your dietitian. If you've written before, the button says Open conversation.
  3. Type in the Message to your nurse (or dietitian) box and tap Send.
  4. When they reply, you get a notification and the card shows how many messages are new. Open the conversation to read them.

Good to know

  • Nurse messaging is part of the Plus and Complete plans, and the Dietitian is part of Complete. On a plan without them, the card says so and links to compare plans.
  • If you haven't been matched with someone yet, the card says so. You can write anyway and they'll see it.
  • Messages can be up to 4,000 characters. Under each of yours you'll see Sent, or when it was Read.
  • Your care team does not manage or change medication. Questions about your dose, when to take it, or starting and stopping go to your prescriber.
  • Messages aren't monitored around the clock. In an emergency, call 911.

Still need help?

GLP-Won doesn't give medical advice. Questions about your medication or symptoms are for your prescriber. If you think you need urgent care, call 911 or your local emergency number.
