Type in a food yourself
Add any food to your food log by name, with calories, protein, fiber, carbs and fat if you know them.
When something isn't in the recipe catalog, you can type it in by hand. Add the nutrition figures you know and leave the rest blank.
Steps
- Open your Food log and scroll to the Add food card.
- Select Type it in myself.
- Enter What you ate and choose the Meal.
- Fill in any of kcal, Protein g, Fiber g, Carbs g and Fat g that you know.
- Select Add.
Good to know
- An entry with no numbers still counts as logged. The food log tells you how many entries have no nutrition figures, because your day's totals will be lower than what you ate.
- Protein and fiber you enter count toward your daily targets and their habits.
- To fix a mistake, remove the entry with the x beside it and add it again.
- To add to an earlier day, go back a day with the arrow at the top of the food log first.
- You can also describe a meal in a sentence with Quick Capture.
