Log food from the recipe catalog

Search the recipe catalog, choose the meal and servings, and add it to your food log with its nutrition filled in.

Your food log records what you actually ate. Adding food from the recipe catalog is the quickest way to get its calories, protein, fiber, carbs and fat filled in.

Steps

  1. Select Food in the bottom navigation, or open the menu and choose Food → Food log (Food log).
  2. In the Add food card, type into Search the recipe catalog and select Search.
  3. On Find food, find what you ate. Choose the meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack) and set the number of servings.
  4. Select Add. You're taken back to your food log, with the item listed under its meal.

Good to know

  • To remove an entry, select the x beside it.
  • To log an earlier day, use the arrow at the top left to go back a day, then add food as usual.
  • Nutrition is copied in when you add an item, so later changes to the catalog don't alter what you logged.
  • If nothing matches, select Type it in yourself to enter it by hand.
  • Today's meals from your current meal plan appear under From today's plan. Select Ate it to log one.
  • If you've logged nausea or vomiting in the past week, a Gentle on a rough GI day card lists lower-fat meals from the catalog. Select Ate it to log one.
