How food logging fills your targets and rings
See how protein, fiber and water from your food log count toward your daily targets, your habits and the Nutrition ring.
What you log on your food log is measured against your daily targets — set during onboarding, and changed any time in Settings under Daily targets. Protein, fiber and water also fill their habits for you as you log.
Steps
- Open your Food log.
- At the top, the Protein card shows grams logged against your target, with a ring for the percentage.
- Protein by meal shows protein at breakfast, lunch and dinner against a per-meal figure.
- Below that, the tiles show calories against your calorie target, and Fiber and Water with bars against their targets.
- Open Today or Habits to see your Protein, Fiber and Water habits update as you log.
Good to know
- Each time you log food or water, that day's totals are copied into your Protein, Fiber and Water habits. A habit is marked done when its total reaches the target, and that's when you earn its Win Points.
- Below target, a habit fills part of the way.
- The Nutrition ring on Home closes only when all of its habits are done: Protein, Water, Meal Planning and, if you have one, Fiber.
- A habit you marked done yourself stays done, even if your logged total is lower.
- Removing an entry lowers the totals, but a habit already marked done stays done.
- Entries with no nutrition figures add nothing to the totals, and the page warns you when that's the case.
- You only have a Fiber habit if you set a fiber target.
